Before you enter your domain, consider the followng: —
1) If possible, use your name as sites of the basis of these www.discountdomainsuk.com your domain name for Discount Domains UK. This may seem like common sense but not every site follows the convention. When your name in the URL, it will be much easier for your customers find you.
2) the common name - if you have a generic domain such as the register toys.com is that great, but most of them are already gone. Also listed in search engines will probably always be difficult. Selected domain closer to your market segment to reduce competition. For example toyplanes.com
3) The names are linked - The easy to forget the hyphen! What is the problem, especially if your customer remembers your name but not your URL. Although on a positive note hyphenated names are less likely to be already registered.
4) Is. Com or. Co.uk extension is not available then consider the other TLD (Top level domain types) such as. Net or. Biz. If your domain is already registered then approach the owner and ask if she wants to sell. You can accept is £ 100. If you ask, they can not say no.
5) The plural form. Very often a domain name is free in the plural, not singular. It is a personal decision, but if your preferred choice of domain name is not available, you can also pasted.
6) Short or Long domains - A short-remember domain name, but are less likely available. A domain is more difficult to remember, but can do more than a few keywords for search engines please use important keywords in a domain name is included as part of the search algorithm.
7) What are the Top Level Domain Type -. Com,. Co.uk. Net, etc. It is a question I often asked. There is no evidence that the domain type preferred by search engines. However, some search engines like Google, have local searches eg www.google.co.uk select local content. Customers often get re-assurance from seeing a local TLD as they know they can with a local business, etc. You have of course all the stops!
Variations - If your desired domain name is not available then its always worth a try my example as a prefix or suffix domains4U.com mydomains.com etc.
