Placed in Web Hosting Guide | March 10th, 2009
For a Web site on the Internet, you need a “server”, as a general rule, a Web hosting companies. The hosting companies are monthly, quarterly or annually. Some companies come with guarantees to. Advice from other entrepreneurs and Web designers are excellent possibilities for finding a good hosting service.
One of the most important functions, which I recommend, is that hosting companies can grow with you. If only they offer a package, and you need more, your site can be for 2 days and / or you may have to modify the code to all types that you use for the new “Server Settings “.
Do not be afraid to read a hosting service information, participants, FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions), to respect the zones Scoreboards or on their websites.
A good hosting company offers many of these bases as possible:
* This is a hosting company, perhaps I can make.
* They offer a money-back guarantee.
* You have information on their page server uptime / off switch.
* Company Contacts me to my first e-mail, if / when there server problems. (Could problems, if the update to their server, hurricanes, etc)
* You provide your own IP address http://postmaster.aol.com/info/ipexpl.html
* They offer at least 5 POP e-mail (example yourname@yoursitesname.com) Your e-mail alias must also accounts resemble a POP account to the person sending an e-mail, but the address is in fact an “alias” that the surrender to another mail account you choose. And if you send an e-mail to the original, it is the e-mail transmission, not yourname@yoursitename.com the sender receives.
* There is a site based on the email system (a place for you to read your e-mail online). Is this not the case, my favorite is www.e-mol.com
* A simple system for e-mails (and vacancies) of capacity.
* 24-hour customer service by phone, even if it is a long distance call, is the best!
* 50 mg room (the room you need for a 100-page Web site on each side about. 8×11)
* 2 Gig data transfer / month (this is enough for a good time!)
* Front Page Extensions? will be necessary, if you have a website with MS Front Page
* CGI / PHP / MySQL (or ASP availability). Check with your Creator, to see what you need forms must be created).
* Easy Control Panel: This feature is particularly important if you want your site or someone else so that it may be. It is a place to visit, if you make changes to your website, addresses, etc.
* Statistics - Does your hosting company planning monthly and yearly statistics on each of your web pages? If you know someone to find all of your web pages?
* Secure Server, basket (and other things you need for a merchant account system)
* Server Type: The type of server a hosting company you choose should take into account things for you as your shopping cart, affiliate program, a Web-site pages, etc. If you use ASP, JSP, PHP, CGI, PL, or CSS, these tools is the influence on the choice of server and vice versa. Your hosting service in May with Windows (ASP, for example, accept, but not PHP), Linux or Unix (Apache / FreeBSD / etc) Server.
* Password protection? If you have any plans to establish a membership or clients only area that of your site is something to consider.
